Impulso cuenta la historia de Jéssica (Cecilia Vallejo), joven de 17 años que, de Quito, donde vive con su abuela y su tia, parte a una hacienda del campo ecuatoriano en busca de su padre, que nunca conoció. Allí es recibida por sus tíos y conoce a su primo de 20 años. El ambiente de la casa, primero acogedor y familiar, va tomando tintes inquietantes que desconciertan a Jéssica y, mientras los dos jóvenes inician una relación amorosa, aparecen cada vez más acontecimientos extraños. Impulse tells the story of Jessica, a 17 year old who lives in Quito with her grandmother and her aunt. She leaves for a farm in the countryside in search of her father, whom she never knew. There she is welcomed by her relatives and she meets her 20-year old cousin. The atmosphere in the house is cozy and familiar at first, but then it begins to feel disturbing and unsettling to Jessica. As she and her cousin begin a romantic relationship, more strange events take place. (Translation by Liam Lewis)
