La película narra la historia de Hoshinica, judía sefardita nacida en México de padres turcos a fines de los 40. El relato culmina el día de su boda cuando la tradición le augura hijos que te nazcan. Explora la integración de las culturas mexicana y judía que éstas han hecho a la vida de los mexicanos. Se reconoce que la pluralidad es beneficiosa. La historia retrata a la juventud de los años 60. The movie narrates the story of Hoshinica, a Sephardi Jewish women born in Mexico to Turkish parents at the end of the 40's. The story culminates on the day of her wedding when her traditions are tested. The movie explores the assimilation of both Mexican and Jewish culture in the lives of Mexicans. It demonstrates that plurality can be a good thing while also portraying what life was like for young people in the 60's. (Translation by Jessica Batista)
