Por diferencias con su novio, una cantante huye al interior del Chaco para actuar en un local muy primitivo. Cierto lugareño rustico y elemental la aísla en medio de la selva. Su novio acude a rescatarla, pero sufre la mordedura de una serpiente. La chica, a fin de salvarlo, simula corresponderle a su captor.
