Durante la dictadura militar en Chile, en 1985, el profesor Ramiro Orellana es relegado a una remota localidad sureña, debido a las actividades de agitación gremial que desarrollaba. En ese lugar, no solo tendrá que enfrentarse a la frontera geográfica a la que es relegado, sino también a la “frontera” que le impide estar con sus seres queridos. El personaje emprende una “odisea” que lo llevará a enfrentar los desafíos del aislamiento geográfico y, a la vez, su desafío personal: la soledad y las carencias afectivas. During the military dictatorship in Chile, in 1985, Professor Ramiro Orellana is relegated to a remote southern town because of the turmoil unfolding due to the unrest amongst the union workers. There, he will not only face the geographical border to which he is relegated, but also to the "border" that prevents him from being with his loved ones. The character undertakes an "Odyssey" that will make him confront the challenges of geographic isolation and, at the same time, his personal challenges: loneliness and emotional deprivation.
