Benjamín Espósito acaba de jubilarse después de una vida entera como empleado en un Juzgado Penal. Tiene un sueño largamente postergado: escribir una novela. Para narrarla no pretende inventar nada, al contrario: contará una historia real de la que ha sido testigo y protagonista, en la lejana Argentina del año 74: la historia de un asesinato y de la búsqueda y el hallazgo del culpable. Espósito no escribe porque sí. Aunque le cueste reconocerlo, escribe para una mujer de la que está calladamente enamorado desde hace demasiado tiempo. Una mujer que ha compartido con él esa historia. Benjamin Esposito has just retired after a lifetime as a clerk in a criminal court. He has a dream that he has long put off: writing a novel. For the narrative, he does not plan on inventing anything, but instead he plans on telling a true story in which he has been both witness and protagonist. This story took place in Argentina in 1974: it is the story of a murder and the search and find of the culprit. Esposito doesn’t write just to do so. Even though it is hard for him to admit it, he writes for the woman that he has quietly been in love with for way too long. A woman who has lived through that experience with him.
