The first Indigenous Coordinating Centers were established in Tzotzil territory located in the state of Chiapas and in the Papaloapan basin of Oaxaca. This short film explains the social, educational, and health-related actions that Mexico's National Indigenist [Indigenous] Institute implemented after its creation in 1948.
