En 1984, luego de casi una década de no verse, dos hermanas se reencuentran en Texas donde vive una de ellas con su marido e hijo. La mujer llegada de España, donde se exilió en 1975 escapando de la Argentina tras la desaparición de su novio, comienza a leer la novela que su padre dejó inédita al morir y su hermana guardó consigo. El manuscrito, que narra la historia familiar en los años de la dictadura, contiene la clave que le permitirá comprender la realidad de aquel pasado trágico que involucra a su hermana y el destino de quien fuera su gran amor. In 1984, after a decade of not seeing each other, two sisters reunite in Texas where one of them lives with her husband and son. The other sister has arrived from Spain where she went into exile in 1975, escaping from Argentina after the disappearance of her boyfriend at the time. She starts to read the novel her father left unedited when he died and her sister has kept in her possession. The manuscript explains their family history during the years of the Argentine dictatorship. It contains clues that will illuminate her sister's involvement in the family's tragic past and the fate of her long lost love. (Translated by Andrew Toth)
