Cuatro años antes de que Robert Flaherty estrenara "Nanook of the North", autor Alcides Greca hizo esta experiencia en Sante Fe. Four years before Robert Flaherty premiered “Nanook of the North”, writer Alcides Greca carried out this project in Santa Fe [Argentina], not only anticipating visual anthropology but also bluring the boundaries between documentary and fiction. The first part describes the dire situation of the Mocoví people who live in the northern part of Santa Fe province. The second part reconstructs (in part with the same protagonists) the attack on the town of San Javier that the Mocoví launched in 1904. (Translated by Sarah Shorter)
